Directions are not correct

This is a nice entry door lever HOWEVER I needed to reverse the direction of the handle and that is where I ran into problems. The directions say to use the provided allen wrench and loosen the set screw. I looked everywhere and did not see a set screw. I also could not get the lock side lever off the stem by pressing in the detent. I spent hours googling it to see if I could figure it out and finally (just when I was going to the hassle to return item) I found a random person had posted instructions on how to change the handling on this lock. First the handle must be installed and the inside lock turned to 45 degrees. Then the detents can be pressed in and the levers will slide off the stems. Very Stylish and Classy too!!
Bought these Richmond Oil Bronze levers for most all the beds and baths in the house. Made a mistake buying the brushed nickels Rochester ones which I thought my husband would like but I was shocked to find out that he loves the bronze ones better! Which before he saw the bronze he said he didn't like the curve but after seeing and installing them, he totally loves them! So back went all the brushed nickel ones, although we did order a couple of this Richmond style in brushed nickel to go in the master bath since it has mainly silver/chrome/nickel hardware, so as to match.

These are an oil rubbed bronze which almost looks black with red bronzed edges. So I guess now I understand why my husband loves it!
