Had a lock that was sticking - figured the easiest thing to do was replace it. Ha! This lock looked like an exact copy, so I ordered it. When I got it I put it up against the old lock, still in place, and eyeballed it. Looked like a match. Uninstalled the old lock and tried to install this. Everything was just a shade off, just enough so it wasn't a drop in replacement. Would have had to fill holes, re-drill, patch for the strike plate, etc. Re-installed and lubed the old lock. So, this is probably OK for a new install, but be careful as a replacement.
