It's a great lock. No getting locked out because your keys are inside when you're outside! The deadbolt is a full 1" and the heavy keeper hasl-o-n-g screws to anchor it into the house framing, not just the door facing. Programming the unlock codes was a snap.

My installation had an advantage: this was a replacement for an older version of the same lock. Moisture got to the old one, and the electronics quit.)

The new lock went on exactly as the old one came off, no additional drilling or shaping required. It works perfectly. The 'self-coding' key (to override the electronics in case of failure) included easy to follow instructions, and it now matches the conventional lock on my back door. (NOTE: This only works if the key uses the same (eg: Quikset) blank-- if it won't fit in the keyhole, this feature is null.
