Simple Master Key System
Unlike the previous reviewer, my deadbolt came with two "tenant" keys and one "landlord" (master) key. The tenant keyways use the standard Kwikset key shaft(KW1); however, the master key is a "Do Not Duplicate" key head and the groove on one side of the shaft is shifted slightly. This makes standard KW1 keys not fit the "master" keyway.

- Rotate cover clockwise to expose the key control cylinder. Now you have access to the key control cylinder.
- Use the SmartKey Tool to rotate cylinder cap counter-clockwise back to the user's keyway when you're done.
